AKSU Supplementary Admission Form 2014/2015 Out – Apply  

 

Aksu Supplementary form 2014 is out. The Akwa Ibom State University (AKSU) wishes to inform candidates who wrote the 2014 JAMB UTME and scored 180/or above but, did not chose AKSU as their First Choice, and those who chose AKSU but, were not successful in the First Choice selection, that the supplementary form is now available.

AVAILABLE PROGRAMMES & UTME SUBJECT REQUIREMENTS

1. Animal Science: English Language, Chemistry, Biology OR Agricultural Science, Mathematics OR Physics.
2. Soil Science: English Language, Chemistry, Biology OR Agricultural Science, Mathematics OR Physics.
3. Agric Economics/Extension: English Language, Chemistry, Biology OR Agricultural Science, Mathematics OR Physics.
4. Crop Science: English Language, Chemistry, Biology OR Agricultural Science, Mathematics OR Physics.
5. Fisheries and Aquaculture: English Language, Chemistry, Biology OR Agricultural Science, Mathematics OR Physics.
6. Agricultural Engineering: English Language, Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.
7. Chemistry: English Language, Chemistry AND ANY OTHER TWO (2) SUBJECTS CHOSEN FROM Biology, Mathematics and Physics.
8. Mathematics and Statistics English Language, Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.
9: Physics English Language, Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.
10. Marine Environmental Science: English Language, Biology, Chemistry, Physics OR Mathematics.
11. Biological Sciences: English Language, Biology, Chemistry, Physics OR Mathematics.
12. Genetics and Biotechnology: English Language, Biology, Chemistry, Physics OR Mathematics.
13. Zoology: English Language, Biology, Chemistry, Physics OR Mathematics.
14. Religious and Cultural Studies: English Language, ONE ARTS SUBJECT, AND ANY TWO (2) OTHER subjects chosen from Arts and Social Sciences.
15. Philosophy: English Language, PLUS ANY THREE (3) subjects chosen from Arts AND Social Sciences.
16. Education/Chemistry: English Language, Chemistry AND TWO (2) OTHER SUBJECTS CHOSEN FROM Biology, Mathematics and Physics.
17. Education/Physics: English Language, Physics, Mathematics AND ANY OTHER SUBJECT CHOSEN FROM Biology, and Chemistry.
18. Education/Biology: English Language, Biology AND TWO (2) OTHER SUBJECTS CHOSEN FROM Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics.
19. Education/Integrated Science: English Language, PLUS ANY THREE (3) SUBJECTS CHOSEN FROM Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics and Biology or Agricultural Science.
20. Education/Mathematics: English Language, Mathematics, AND TWO (2) OTHER SUBJECTS CHOSEN FROM Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.

METHOD OF APPLICATION

The supplementary admission forms are obtained with a bank draft of N1,000.00 (One thousand naira) and post UTME Screening fee of N2,000.00 (two thousand naira) respectively, made payable to Akwa Ibom State University in any of the following banks nationwide:
A. Zenith Bank
B. Akwa Savings and Loans Limited
C. United Bank for Africa
D. First Bank Plc
E. Ecobank
F. Union Bank
Forms should be collected, filled and returned at the following locations:
AKSU Main Campus, Ikot Akpaden, Mkpat Enin L.G.A.
AKSU Obio Akpa Campus, Oruk Anam L.G.A.
AKSU Liaison Office, Plot 29, Ubium Street, Unit C, Uyo.
AKSU Liaison Office, Akwa Ibom State House, Central District, Abuja.

SCREENING DATE & DETAILS

The Supplementary Post-UTME Screening exercise will be conducted at the two campuses of the University on Thursday, November 20th,2014 as follows:
PROGRAMMES DATE VENUE TIME
1. All Programmes as specified in the Faculties of Natural & Applied Sciences, Education and Engineering 20/11/2014 Main Campus, Ikot Akpaden, Mkpat Enin Local Government Area. 9.00am.
2. All Programmes as specified in the Faculties of Agriculture and Arts respectively 20/11/2014 Obio Akpa Campus, Obio Akpa, Oruk Anam Local Government Area. 9.00am.

Screening of candidates will commence at 9.00am prompt at the two campuses respectively. Therefore, candidates are advised to arrive the venue of the screening exercise early.

INSTRUCTIONS TO ALL CANDIDATES
Candidates are to appear for screening with the following:
i. Receipts of purchase of the form and payment for the screening.
ii. 2014/2015 UTME result slip showing the candidate’s photograph in colour.
iii. Three (3) recent Passport sized photographs.
iv. Writing materials which should include HB pencil, sharpener, eraser, ruler and ball-point pen.
v. Candidates are strongly advised not to come to the screening venue with GSM phones, calculators or any extraneous materials, as any violations of this instruction will be penalized.

Return of completed forms end on Friday, November 14th, 2014 by 4.00pm.

NOTE:
i. AKSU 2014/2015 Post-UTME supplementary admissions screening forms are not sold online. Therefore, candidates and the general public are advised to ignore any such information.
ii. Candidates must ensure that their UTME subjects agree with those acceptable in Akwa Ibom State University for the respective programmes.
